Price: 60 cents per page, regular turnaround time (2-3 days), 75 cents per page, 24-hour turnaround
Copy Editing
Jill has written prose in a variety of contexts -- from newspaper articles to grants to academic papers. She will smooth out choppy sentences, tighten run-on sentences or reorder your words for more clear and convincing copy. Her broad background in academia and as a journalist make her well-equipped to handle technical terms in a wide variety of fields.
Price: $40 per hour.
Document Reorganization
Document reorganization is a step above copy editing. Jill will assist you to assemble the elements of a lengthy document, such as an oral history transcript, into a coherent narrative. She is experienced at grouping a jumble of information by sequence or theme and then trimming repetitive parts to create a more seamless narrative.
